Sarah Sample Coach Sarah has been coaching soccer for 13 years at the collegiate and club level with UMBC Women's Soccer, ECNL member Bethesda Soccer Club and Arlington Soccer Association including coaching 3 US Youth National Team players and numerous players that have gone on to D1 programs. Sarah's playing career spanned 23 years. She competed in club for the Bethesda Dragons winning 5 State Cup Championships, 2 Regional Championships and contending for a National title. Individually Sarah was selected for 8 ODP State teams (including one year as a keeper), 5 ODP Regional teams and 3 US National Team pools and the U-19 Women's National team playing alongside Heather O'Reilly, Megan Rapinoe, Becky Sauerbrunn and Ashlyn Harris. She won 4 High School Championships, 3 at St.Mary's High School in Annapolis and a 4th at Severna Park High School. Post season selections saw awards as a McDonald's All-American, 3 All-Met selections and 4 All-State, All-County, All-South and All-League spots and earning multiple MVP, Best Utility and team captain nods. She earned a full athletic scholarship to play college soccer and finished at the University of Maryland - College Park. She went on to play semi-professional soccer with the Washington Freedom Reserves, DC United Women (now Washington Spirit), and Ottawa Fury and received an invitation in to one professional combine.
Vicky Brunt Coach Vicky has been coaching soccer for 21 years in high school, club and camp programs. She is currently the Girls Varsity Head Coach at The Key School in Annapolis, MD. Before venturing out to Annapolis, Coach Vicky led the varsity programs at both Yorktown High School in Arlington, VA and Sidwell Friends in DC. Yorktown won their district title 7 of the 8 years that Vicky was at the helm. She was honored by the Washington Post in 2013 as All Met Coach of the Year as the team advanced to the Virginia state championship. Her club coaching began in Washington DC with DC Stoddert from 1998 to 2006, when her girls graduated and many went on to play in college. She moved into Virginia and coached in BRYC and Arlington clubs before moving to Maryland where she has coached at Maryland United FC. Vicky grew up playing in Columbia Maryland. Her club, the Columbia Crusaders, won multiple WAGS titles and 7 state championships, while at Centennial High School she earned 3 state championships, also receiving 5 ODP state team selections along the way. She earned a scholarship to play at The George Washington University under the leadership of a US Women's National Team legend Shannon Higgins Cirovski. During and after college she played semi-professional for 8 years, winning a national title with the Maryland Pride in 1996 and earning caps with the Northern VA Majestics and the Cleveland Internationals.
Kerie Sample Kerie is the attacking specialist on staff. Her career as a player spanned 16 years. She played club soccer for the Bethesda Fury earning 7 State Cup Championships and 3 Regional Championships. As an individual Kerie was selected for 8 ODP State teams, 4 ODP Regional teams and 2 US Youth National Teams. In High School Kerie was a prolific goal scorer and won 2 Championships, one with St. Mary's High School and a second at Severna Park High School. Her awards were All-Met, All-South, All-State, All-County and All-League. She received multiple scholarship offers to play college soccer and finished school at Towson University in Maryland.
